Yowch. That's a sad story. I bet it happens more often than we know. Sadly, people have been neglecting their kids longer than myspace has been around though.

Yes, Rox, that is true... I know of a family, somewhere in Quebec, who lost not one, but two of their toddlers to their own backyard swimming pool.
